Harvest is one man’s journey to live off food he hunted, fished, baked, butchered, preserved, or pickled. Author Max Watman’s book was a great read, and we secretly hoped he’d invite us up to his place in upstate New York to cook squirrel for us. Okay, maybe we would have passed on the squirrel, though Watman actually did talk about barbecuing one in his book. We’re still game (so to speak) for a visit, Max, so we’ll clear our calendar for dinner whenever you’re ready.
